umm i dunno.. the only time so far i've driven my jetta in winter was this april when i bought it and we got all those messed up storms so i did get to drive it on ice/snow.. once i was entering a parking lot downtown and had to stop on an incline cuz the person in front of me.. well after they went i tried to go and just spun out so i had to slighly let it roll backwards in 1st then go and it went so i guess they are okay but thats not good enough testing :P

i drove around on my stock monte's all winter and didnt have a single problem. then again, prior to that i was driving around in a stock neon with bald tires... anything is an improvement over that!
