"1) Lightly sanded with 1500 grit wet/dry sand paper. Soaked the sand paper over night.
    2) Dupli-Color Adhesive Promoter -wait for this to get dry. Spray from the recommended distance, 8 - 12 inches away I think. Any closer and it will cause spotting.
    3) Dupli Color Bumper Paint - Great OEM Color, satin black which is similar to OEM. The paint also has "Flex" mixed in so it is good for plastics.
    4) Dupli Color Clear Coat - Makes the paint water and chip resistant.

Just make sure that the grill is extremely dry. I would allow it a few days to cure and harden"

Got it off the wonderful world of vortex, Turned out really nice. and as long as you follow what the can says "its all good in the hood". And yes i am up at 3:37 in the morning.

if the grills already black like FK grills, all i did was add a clear coat to it and it looked fine on the rado and my old golf.

I'm getting my red one redone in black at SAIT. I think it's around 25.00. They have done some great work on my father-in-law's new RX8 (engine bay, bumpers, sideskirts) that look OEM. If he didn't tell me it was done custom I wouldn't know any better. I think he paid 250.00 for the whole thing. Cheap and good quality (better than I could ever do myself).

You should get the blue one painted if you still have it. that grill is mint.

How does one go about getting SAIT to do paint work? I could use a re-spray on my front valence in the spring.

Thats an interesting option I wasnt aware of, my valance needs either respraying or replacing, was going to do it late summer but had to put it off.
