Anyone have a boost leak checker?
Did you make it? How lol?

It's really silly for me to say "i think i have leak" without having a Turbo Gauge.. but it just "feels" like theres much less boost goin on.

check your pcv valve lines and such, just repaired a buddies and that was his problem, the lines were hard and cracked leaving the intake manifold open to atmosphere when on boost.

    it still boosted.

well his boost was reaching max pressure but only at higher rpms, wasnt spooling as hard down low, typical expectations from a boost leak.

              Re: boost leak checker?

Its funny with APR programing, 1st to 3rd it only pushes between 12 to 14PSI. From dead stops punching threw the gears it maby hits 12psi and slowly falls till you switch gears.

But 4th gear to 6th when you push the pedel down it just climbs to 19 or 20 and holds it all the way. At first i said BOOST LEAK, but when i called APR to ask them about it the said its normal. THe charged air is so hot, to spike at 20ish and hold about 17 to 18psi would be very very hard on the turbo. The only reason why is hold at 20psi at greater speeds is cause there is so much air flow around the intercooler, that it can keep the charged air at a safe temp to boost that high.

That being said they tell me the Hp is still that same. Sounded weird to me, but im sure APR knows what there talking about.

                Like this you could say.

Except when driving 80KM and you floor it, it just heads right for 20psi and holds it till you look how fast your going and it sais 260KM HAHAHAHAH
