  • Windshield Wiper Repair

    I fixed my wipers today after they siezed up coming back from vacation.

    Very good DIY. However, the pin is not brass but chrome plated steel (on mine anyways), so it will only continue to corrode now that the plating is worn through. We'll see how long it lasts now that its re-greased.

      I had to do the same thing a few weeks ago on my sis car. What a pain in the ass liek thestig said.

        I love freeing those things up. They will last forever if you use antiseize (coppaslip) compound. If anyone needs one, I have a couple already rebuilt.
