Wheel Suggestion

Hey will these wheels work well on a MK4 silver jetta?? They are off my old 1996 GLX which had the 5x100 pattern, but i'm just not too sure about how they will look on this car. The owner wants to part them out and said the send him an offer since i was somewhat interested. They are 17" wheels and i think they are 17x7

Might look OK but I think more suited to the Mk3

i think they will look kinda small on the mk4, you would have to run a really agressive drop to make it look good, also it reminds me of something i would see on every other civic or accord, just not a fan, but if you like em then thats all that matters
