My rear wiper is posessed!

Anyone have their rear wiper turn on for no reason? Mine osolates 2-3 times then shuts off. Seems to do it when I first start up the car (not always the case) and then at totally random intervals when driving. Sometimes I can get it to turn off by pushing the stalk forward for a second then back to neutral. If it's not an easy fix I guess I'll have to drop it off at the dealer and have them take a look at it.

i had a friend who's front wipers did that. would scare the crap out of you if you left the ignition on to listen to music or something and were under the hood and all of a sudden the wipers would go a few rounds.

Sounds like a bad wiper stalk.
