  • Vag-Com Query/Request.

So I've scanned through the archives on here, on Vortex and on CVD. I'm wondering if anyone is the NW would be able to help me out with my stereo. It's got the automatic volume adjustment active and I'm hoping to remove that. From what I've gathered I need to use a Vag-Com to modify the coding on the headunit. If I'm missing anything it'd be greatly appreciated. Still a fairly new Dub owner.

    Edit: I have a MKIV 2000 GLS Jetta 12V VR6.

Well I did and I noticed quite a few people have a Vag-Com in the NW, my question however was for more than just who has it. Rather than just sending someone a message I was curious if anyone was willing to say they'd help out first.

            Re: Vag-Com Query/Request.

I thought that there was a way to do this without the VAG-COM. If I remember right, holding down the dolby button (maybe) for 3-4 seconds brought up a menu of options.

Sadly I can't work that method on mine since it's a non monsoon single din headunit. I tried that one a couple of days after picking up the car, thanks for the added input you guys.
