yes, brakes are important.. if you really don't know where to start, at least get some help. On the other hand, brakes are one of the easier things on a car to replace, and there isn't much opportunity for screw-ups (unless you are canadian tire, and forget to tighten the bolts holding the caliper to the car...).

Man I love it. I remember about a year ago when you made that thread. I forgot why I hate china tire so much toooo funny.

To see why you should replace the rotors at the same time as the pads, check out my thread in the members rides section called "boingies and stoppers" and look for the photo of the old rotor.

i dont agree most of the time you can turn them as log as they stay above the min thikness ,
many parts stores will turn them for you if you bring them in
