  • Sonova tar!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

stupid friggin city roads.. today i had to drive through like a 200ft patch of fresh hot as hell tar and little rocks.. i went like 3km/hr through but needless to say my wheels were covered so then my inner fenders became covered and since i have no mud flaps my lowers became covered:angry:
i instantly went to a car wash and got most of it off since it was hot but then driving home the edge of my wheels still has some so it came back agian:angry:
i stopped at crappy tire and got a clay bar.. will this remove the tar?? i also got this funky wheel brush now i gotta scub the crap outta my wheels to get the tar off

Clay will take it off but try some goo gone first to make sure u get the real sticky stuff off so u dont smear with Clay.....

There is stuff called "bug and tar remover" available at Parts Source, Crappy tire, etc that you could try. Goo gone doesn't SEEM to harm the paint but I don't know if I would be comfortable just smearing it every where - use sparingly.

Clay bar should remove it from the paint if there are tiny drop stuck on.

we had all the major streets in brandon re-done this summer, so my car was totally covered on the underside in tar.

sprayed bug and tar remover and wiped off and got most of it off, but need to scrub with a brush to get the other stuff off. maybe ill try that clay bar
