    Re: 2.0T GTI/jetta problem

i have used mine many times, before and after warranty. its been worth it for me for sure. Even under warranty, if you can fix something minor, like a sensor or something on the spot, it saves you having to get your car to a shop. For me, even when i had warranty, I still pretty much have to miss a half hour of work in the morning and another at the end of the day, so its not 'free'.
In the end, you learn a bit more about your car in the process too, which is never a bad thing.

It is also good for a case of beer every now and then when someone in the club is in need of a vag-com favour .

You hit the nail on the head . I love cars, i love tunning cars so having a vag is like have a key to start your car "you need one"

But in the case of GTX. Your right it is a wast of money and time, when you drive a sunfire.

This happened to me also after a long, hot drive from Medicine Hat to Oyen to Hanna to Calgary. Took the car in right away.

They scanned and found a P2293 problem, apparently it was a grounding issue with the fuel pressure system. They created a ticket with VW Tech Line. It is (apparently) fixed, but IMHO it may happen again.

Well Freddy, I had the same thing happen to me last night after running 14.1 at 98.4 mph... f**k. I was driving the car for about 3 hours and then when I was going home, at lower rpm's just before shifting into second seemd as though some jammed on my brakes. Scared the Crap outta me.
