well, shmucked my oil pan on a rock rear the road construction on beddington this morning. didn't get a good look at the damage, but the oil was drained pretty damn quick. towed it to George, we'll see what he finds.

Props to Billy's Towing for some friendly service, and getting me to work.

Horrible news. I must say, I'm glad the Volvo is kind of a 4x4 because there has been huge crap on the road over the last few weeks. Huge chunks of tire/dirt/rocks. We actually just missed a football sized rock in the middle of the road a week or so ago, that would have caused major damage.

    I feel for you.

That is crappy to hear. Go with the aluminum skidplate, C1 now carries the one I bought and you can get a discount. Just think what a $300 skid plate could have saved you?

This just motivated me to get my skidplate installed. Ive had it in my garage for over a year now.

The other day I was driving south on 84th street, just before the rail road tracks at 114th the road dips in on either side and sticks up quite a bit in the middle! I took about 3 inches out of the part that sticks up in the middle of the road. Luckily no damage, i think i got lucky cause it was hot out and the road was soft enough to break first.
