    Hey all , Anyone have there coilpacks done on Warraty? Are u allowed to keep your old ones... One of my buddies got his up here and now Southgate wont give me mine..... HMMMMM whats the problem here...... all info appreciated

    Half the time they bust in half, they look nasty with like 1 km of copper wire - wtf would you want them? I expect they are supposed to return/count them for VW to reimburse them (otherwise the dealer could say "I fixed 2 million coils, but I can only prove 10".

      true enough but they showed me my iold ones and they looked brand new, but i checked the part # on the ones in my car and they were they new "L" ones so all is good..... other than them having my car for 7 hours and only changing the Coilpacks which takes 10 min.... they didnt fix anything else just ordered parts... 7 hrs for ordering parts c'mon VW

          when u take the clip off just look straight down on it.... it will have the part number right in front of you

            We are supposed to throw them out, but i have saved some and stored them in my tool box if anyone needs them (old number of course) Basically anyone that isnt broken i can take...
