hey just wondering if anyone has ran into this problem aswell, swapped my seats a while back for some racing seats i had, now when i put the stock ones back the air bag light on the dash comes up. from what i know if the ECU senses their is a complete circuit it should turn the dash light off??? shouldn't it? or is the code saved in the memory?? any info would be great cheers..

from what i understand they have to put a resistor in when the racing seats go in so that the car thinks that it still has air bags in the seats, first I would make sure that all of the a/m seating components are out then find some one with a scan tool to erase the faults (see wolfsburg sticky #1) then if the faults come back you may have a valid air bag fault or there's something still left from the after market setup triggering the fault.
