I've got a MKIV TDI - looking to get it lowered but to also firm up the ride at the same time. Not wanting to spend a whole bunch of money. My goal is to lower it a bit (probably a 60/40 kit) but to also tighten up the handling a little bit as well. How and where should I spend my money?

Buy a quality cup kit, comes with matched springs and shocks, will lower the car and improve handling. H&R is kind of the most proved in my opinion.

If you want an even more dramatic improvement in handling, add a rear sway bar and you're set.
