hey there i was jsut wondering if anyone here knew if these would fit my 02 gti and if not what i would have to do =) thanks
Kumho 712 255/35/18 on the rears 9" wide rim 40 offset
Kumho 712 225/40/18 on the fronts 8 " wide rim 33 offset

8" 33et should fit the front no problemo

9" 40et... not sure you might need a spacer? Someone else help

IM not sure if GTi's are the same as Jetta's but mine are 8.5'' all the way around and they fit good. The rears come pretty close though. Im thinking you may need spacers.

I am pretty sure you will rub on the suspension :( Not 100% sure tho

ET40 on a 9.0 on the rear will fit fine. I do 8.5's ET35 front and 9.5's ET40 all day long on MKIV's...

Kidding, bob is the expert so I defer to him, even though I would not have guessed it. I ran 19x 8.5 et 35's and they were close.

ok et has changed some how lol..... this is hte new info hes got

so i got them mounted and it seems like there is slight vibrations/runbbing when im going slow and only slow when im going 50+ it feels normal?? im thinking maybe 5mm spacers and seeing if that helps any ideas?? ( oh yeah by the way its only the rear wheels)

Make sure they are not broken. Balance your tires and also tighten your bolts. If there is a problem spacers won't make it better.
