I took my Car in for service and they did the EGR Cooler Recall, now the car has a stutter to at 1700 to 2200 rpm that wasn’t there prior to the dealer performing the recall work. The service advisor at the dealer knows nothing about this issue, but it seems like a commonly known issue when you search it on the net. I heard that there is no real fix, just swap out an orifice plate that changes the rpm at which it happens. Is it the EGR valve? Could you chance the duty cycle of the valve to stop this?
