Trust me, your not filling up with 94-octane does not "worry" me -- honestly, I could care less; all I care about is people trying the fuel before making judgements!
But lets say I'm running really low in gas and the nearest gas station only has 91 or 92. Running 94 Octane mode will this create alot of knocking and mess up the car? Or will the ECU know to re-time itself?

Seriously, there is a 94 octane tuned Upsolute program? Or is this the "custom chip" route or an earlier version or an existing program or something? If this is available, any word on what the gains are like?
Only problem with this idea is that you'd probably get pinging on 91 octane... what if you're driving around or are outside the city or something and NEED to fill up?
OMG GUYS GO GET 94 FROM MOHAWK!!!!!! HOLY GOD.. I GOT SOME HERE TODAY.. CAR PULLED LIKE I GAINED 20HP SERIOUSLY MAN THE STOCK ENGINE SETUP MUSTA REALLY LIKED THIS STUFF CUZ MY CAR PULLED LIKE NEVER BEFORE!! I came in empty so i have a entire tank of 94 in right now .. DAMN DAMN DAMN thanks so much peter for posting this up and thanks everyone for emailing and phoning hustky
I think they just increased the ethanol content again in it. It is true that higher ethanol content means it will not burn with with the same intensity as lower ethanol blended fuels, however, despite that, the higher octane rating will allow the car to run with better timing. Stock cars should not be affected as much with this higher mix theoretically because they should be running with close to perfect timing on stock boost. Those who have upped the boost should gain more because of the timing advance allowed with the higher octane and gain the timing lost from the increased knock running on 91 octane and higher boost.
I've seen datalog tests on a '91 talon with turbo upgrade and other usual bolt ons. With 91 the car would run with single digit timing advances, with 94 it timing would be in the double digits, running 108 VP, car was at near full timing and the manifold would not glow as much after a pass down the 1320 at race city.
I can't wait to burn off the rest of my tank and try out some of mother nature's special reserve!

I agree! Peter is my yoda! I'm itching sooo bad to get some 94 Octane in my ride. Does anyone know what octane levels are in British Columbia? I'm going to kelowna soon and hopefully Simon gets some new software for all of us soon!

you guys really want software to take advantage of this 94 octane gas? if it were me i'd wait a while longer till you can get it at more than just 1 place.
i'd hate to have a 94 octane chip and find out i can only get 91
Theres lots of propaganda available with regards to ethanol content. Yes, it is mostly harmless and can help boost octane and lower emissions. But also be carefull what you read and believe... lots of quotes come from documents and studies paid for by pro-ethanol lobbyists etc.
