Service Bulletin for a PD?

I had a 2000 TDI, it started fine every time with very little puff. Now my current car, 04 TDI smokes a little more and runs a little rough for a few seconds when I start it cold (cold being 0 degrees). I was told that there was a service bulletin out there for rough starts and they replace the injectors with NGK injectors. Anyone else heard of this?

I had alot of problems with my glowplug system in the past. I know I've had different glowplugs and injectors installed but I don't know what brand. Are you getting an MIL?

No CEL, just a little sputter. I'll poke around a little more.

I get a shudder from the engine with it is cold and put under a load like when pulling away from a stop. Lasts about 5 blocks then it is good. I talked to the dealer and they checked things over and said that it was fine yet it still does it. Another lame experiance with dealer service? Perhaps.
