  • Lexol in Calgary

So it seems the consensus is that Lexol is the best treatment for Leather on VWVortex.com. So has anyone found this stuff in Calgary, or is this another wild goose chase for a product nobody brings into Canada. Our poor little wimpy market...

no i checked crappy tire and ended up buying some meguirs gold class leather wipes.. which are good stuff but a waste cuz you have to use 1 wipe per 1/4 of seat to get a good treatment

I just buy the meguir's liquid. It works pretty good, can use as much as I want.

only thing i use for the dash is a wet cloth or chamoise.. can't use any products on the VW/Audi dashes, my dad went to the audi dealership to get dash cleaner, and they said "we dont have such a product, we use water and a cloth"

For the dash, I have two very good suggestions.

The first one I learned from Peter. Swiffer mittens. They pick up dust AWESOME. You can just put one on your hand and quickly go over all the plastic - it will look like the day you bought it.

The second one - Volkswagen brand protectant. It makes the plastic look shiny AND gives you back the "Volkswagen" new car smell. You can get it at the dealerships!

why would you want your dash shiny? VW uses a very porous rough dash, i dont think it looks good when its shiny.

Everything looks good when its shiny. I didn't mean mirror-gloss though, just not dull like the dash gets if you leave it.

Where does one acquire these "black magic wipes"?

Sorry kuhli, didn't mean to jack your thread.
