ok bought the alumin. 13$ a pc. need 2 LOL can of clear laquer 7$ and some 600 grit paper 4$ and double sided 3M graphite tape 7$ so total of 45 sumthin tax in.... the 2"x3' is too long i need to trim some off but i will do that now.... i also found the tape doesnt stick to well but that is probably because of the protectant on the door sill.... I'll let u know tonight how it goes....

Ahhh the tape doesnt stick to the plastic already in the doorsill and u have to cut the aluminum shorter to fit because of the curves in the sill..... might just be easier to buy some..... i'll keep trying things tonightDale WillimusComment

The ones you buy are cut short too, they don't go all the way to the back of the door. I would just cut them, don't try bending... thats bound to fail

OK gonna find the right adhesive tape today, I'm gonna go get them engraved and i'll see how much that costs..... Hopefully i can find a way so they stay put in the door sill......Dale WillimusComment
