  • Euro representing

Hopefully in 2007 we can place a few Euro cars on the top 10 list of fastest sport compacts in AB. I know a bunch of cars are in the works.

I'd expect the 10th position to be somewhere around the 11.7-11.9 mark with the fastest time possibly in the 9's.

ya Im going to shoot for 11's this year, 9's out here are a long ways away, the best I seen at waterfest was a 9.6 at 157mph and that moving, i would love to see some mid to high 10's here from some dubs. I have a few friends that make close to 700whp in mk2's and 10.1 still on big slicks.

I'm going to go with "possible but unlikely".

High HP mk1 chasis cars might have a shot but who is building one?

You will need to crack 11.5 I bet. Won't happen in a Mk4...

Well, I expect my MK1 VW to be in the top 10. I decided against making it the fastest it could be, and settling for the best all around car it can be. Still expecting low 10's, high 9's @ 145mph+

who has a 700whp MK2 and ran 10.1? It wasn't in Canada. There aren't many 700whp VW's in the world (3 that I know of) and they are out there running mid 9's. With 503whp, I ran 11.0 @ 133mph. There should be a couple 12 second VW's this year, and I know of 1 or 2 BMW's getting big power. I would be nice to have 2 or 3 Euro cars in the top 10 list. Get a little respect from the srt-4 guys.

If you need help with making a few decisions on your car, let me know.

If all goes well I should hopefully get a 12 second slip this year. I doubt 12's will qualify for the top ten.

Chris your car looks like a 9 second car standing still! I love the look.
