Boost Valve

I did a search and saw that QUA used this kit from http://www.boostvalve.com/ I read that QUA had to install a diode to make it work, can anyone confirm if this would be a necessity since I have a tiptronic?

With my setup, would this kit benefit me or would it be just a waste of cash and problems with limp mode and CEL's?

A waste of cash and problems with limp mode... sounds like Vegas
