I was going to do white walls but I recently bought corrado 4x100 15inch steelies and I can't find white walls in a 50 series. The lowest profile is 65 (marshmallows). I was wondering if anyone had any other ideas. I know I could use fakey whitewall inserts but I don't think I want to go that route. It's all or nothing. I was thinking about red line tires but I still can't find them in a 50 series. I really want to use the corrado steelies but I'm running out of ideas. This is where you guys come in. Any ideas? I am doing a rat rod style, I was thinking of keeping the car red and painting the hood and trunk lid. For those who don't know what the base for this project is it's a MK3 Jetta 2.0l soon to be turboed.

Re: looking for ideas for my ride.
I like this, but with steelies.
The steelies look like this only silver and I want to incorporate the center caps and wheel bolt covers. Hey, should I chrome them?

Re: looking for ideas for my ride.
Can anyone post rat style mk3 jettas for ideas? Where would I get the steelies widened? Also what size rubber should I use to get the stretched look? Thanks for all your help!
Dayle, I'm off to Vancouver for training tomorrow till Wednesday then I work Thursday and then I'm off to Costa Rica for my sister's wedding. We will be back April 9th. I can help you out when I get back or shoot me the wiring diagram and I'll see what we have to do.Last edited by VAG_Tech; 03-25-2007, 06:24 PM.Like Type 2's? Visit my blog!

Re: looking for ideas for my ride.
I guess I could go with 185/65 15 white walls. I have a FK 60/40 suspension kit I'm throwing at it too. The tires would tuck I think and It may look cool. I may also have to remove the fender liners and roll the fenders. Can anyone p-shop something for me?
I wish I had p-shop skills.Last edited by VAG_Tech; 03-25-2007, 06:41 PM.Like Type 2's? Visit my blog!
