  • Its Spring! Wheels?

Well since its spring its time to start thinking about getting those summer wheels back on! My Brocks are alittle beat up though, alittle curbage and some of the clear coat is pealing on a few of the wheels. Is it possible to get them repaired, or am I going to have to have them peeled and polished? And any idea what this is going to cost per wheel? Ill snap some pics tomorrow

Edit: Also I am missing 2 of my centre caps, and am wondering if anyone knows where I can buy some. I have talked to them at color tuning, but its almost 80 bucks american because they will ship 4 of them directly from Germany. Any know any where else to get them? I have checked the vortex and ebay but with no luck. Im thinking my http://www.ebay.de/ might have some, but I certainly can't speak German!

They can no doubt get fixed up to look like new. Check out: http://www.mobilewheelrepair.com

Give Andrzej a call at (403) 861-3582. They fixed up all four of my wheels last year and they looked brand new afterwards. Mine had everything from minor scratches to a couple major chunks taken out of them thanks for construction on crowchild and some curbage by the ex.

Cost was roughly $125 a wheel.

Derek (ginch) over at 5th Ave uses them as well, that's where I got Andrzej's number from.

Edit: Always just a second too slow... either that or I talk (type) too much...

Perfect. I was going to look this guy up. I have had work done at Alberta Wheel repair, but they have gotten some bad reviews lately.

You can get VW caps at the dealership. Or you can get plain caps and just make sure they are the same diameter- even CMS bob might be able to get you some plain ones. Or cut some yourself.
