I'm thinking fo buying the wheels and tires from Tirerack, but the only problem is, they just ship the items through UPS. Is there anyone know how much the UPS will charge me for handling fee, etc????
From what ive heard, in order to avoid brokerage fees you just gotta ship it express air. You will end up paying alot more but then you will get the wheels much faster and wont have to pay for brokerage fees.
Ive never went this route so maybe someone on here has done it and can shine in.

haha, thanks man...I take it you're the receiver lol?
I saved a lot by driving down to the border. I can't remember how much the difference was, something like $25 a tire to ship to sweetgrass and $175 a tire to ship across the border to Calgary. So I saved like... $600 in shipping hahaha.
dont buy from tirerack, buy from a canadian source.
shopcms.com
or
tiretrends.com
Even if what you want isnt listed on their website they can usually get them in pretty quick.
Thanks everyone, I just called Tiretrend today, and they can get the wheels I want. BTW, I want to hear some ideas for the tires, I'd like go with the allseason performance tires and price around $200. The reason for allseason is, I can run the tirs and wheels 2-3months more every year than the summar tires.
and for the wheels, How do u like this? It's ASA AR2
Falken 512s are good high perf all seasons. Suck in snow but they're not meant for it. Definately avoid UPS for any cross border shopping. Fedex or even better is USPS.
