i thought you said your looking after these apprentices, this is a big joke, but the joke is on me for paying..ha ha ha.
You are so ridiculous. Should everything be done for you for free? Does Dave not deserve to put food on his family's table? Should you get a discount because you can't understand simple instructions?

I take my car to the dealership for everything. When I do that, I understand that there will be a charge for anything that isn't a warranty item. These are the facts of life at dealerships, and pretty much any other service based industry as well.

As an advisor at Norden VW I try not to charge people for small things, but at the end of the day, both the technition and myself get payed on the hours sold, so if the tech is claiming an hour of diagnosis time, I have to charge that out. I don't mind helping people out and giving deals when its appropriate, but realistically if you are brining your car to the dealership for something and its not a warranty issue, you should expect to pay something.

the car is still under warranty but they told me the fuse is not covered after
1 year 20,000km's and because i actually used the power outlet and the fuse blew i had to pay they blamed my phone charger.

                  Re: where are these people.

i think that is a reasonable assumption. The fuse for the lighter outlet is probably the most common one to go, because chargers often malfunction, or get wet, or bounce around in your loose change and short out. If you don't use the charger for a while, and the fuse still pops, then yeah, you may have reason to complain. And if at that point the dealer found a fault on the vehicle side, they will likely take in to consideration the original mis-diagnosis.

how hard can it be to say thank you after paying all that money and having
a 10 dollar an hour apprentice work on your car.pretty sad when you make more money flipping burgers.nobody washes cars anymore."

how much do you make flipping burgers? did you apprentice first? i don't want no 5.95 burger apprentice flipping my big macs if they're not going to thank me for accepting the wrong food combo. but i need to eat, so can i have free burgers? and do those guys wash their hands anymore?

Ryan and Volkstech summed it up best, in my opinion. you can lock it now, if you'd like!

I always love your analogies!! Ha Ha!! So true. Everyone wants something for nothing. If you need something done and don't know how to do it yourself, then I guess your only alternative is to pay someone else to do it!

Don't take stuff to the dealership! Simple as that, if you do, stop crying.
