It gets a resounding "meh" from this guy. It doesn't even have the darker tails or seats from the euro R32. I wish I had more thumbs so I could give it 4 thumbs down.

Actually the MK4 R32 had independant rear suspension as well. As much as I really want to love this car I don't. Firstly, as cool as DSG is, I wouldn't by this car with it. Secondly, boo on the regular GTI leather seats. Again, nice but not special to me. I love the motor and the all wheel drive but thats about it!

The MK5 R32 has been officially priced at $32,990US and they claim over 1,000 of the 5,000 units are pre-sold.

At current exchange rates this car is a pretty good price for us, and after spotting several in Wolfsburg I think they look great and I even saw a US Spec version on the assembley line too!! Lets pray this car is not blacklisted this time!

One thing thats good about it is you can probably get HPA Motorsports to hook you up with a bit of an upgrade.
