What Price: 04 Jetta TDI GLS - 80,000 km

As described above, what do you guys think is a fair price. The car is in great condition and is well cared for. Warranty to 160k.

Anythink to look out for? I'm aware of the exhaust manifolds coking up, but I'm not aware of anything other than that.

make sure that the maint has been done, the tb will be due in about 10 or 15k

make damn sure that the oil changes have been with the 505.01 (i think!) pd tdi spec

timing belt is the big one... often what convinces people to sell around 80k km.

Timing belt is scheduled for 96K - mine will be coming up this summer. :(

I would guess at about $22K ish, 80K is a little high.

the worst of my problems in my TDI happened from 65k km to 80k km. from 80k km to 160k km, all has been pretty darned good, imo.

I'm pretty sure it's 160k for the TB (manual is in the car and I'm too lazy to walk outside right now).

80,000km is barely broken in. What options does it have?

128000 for sure after 2002... can't find if its different in 2004. if you're to lazy to walk outside, i'm too lazy to look any harder too

Its a buddy looking at it, it has every option except auto sensing wipers (which I've never heard of since my departed 00 GTI GLS). That's what the owner stated...

At 18ish blackbook, non-dealer retail should be about $20,000 in my experience...does that seem about right?
