      400 bucks holy crap!! mine even after conversion and import fees,etc was like 300 total.. plus our dollar is at like 74.xx right now so its doing hella good man.. just order one from evolution motorsports

        Dude, buy one used off vortex, just be sure to get a phone number and CALL them beforehand, that way if they screw you, you at least have a phone number to track em down with. They go for like 90 US

          Lots of people think that the air is moving too fast for it to matter if its metal or plastic. This makes sense? The air is coming in cold and whipping through pretty fast... I don't know if it would actually heat up?

          Doesn't club18t make an awesome custom intake? I remember seeing a picture....

            even though it moves fast..... touch your hand to a barbecue at 700 degrees no matter how fast u touch it it still hurts... IMO

              It will still heat up eventually, but I think that the plastic would be better in my opinion.

                  Plastic has a far better thermal disapation quality compared to steel, Alum. and so forth......but its all one perogative

                    I have the chrome cold air intake from ATP. it makes my engine bay look bling bling.
