The last thing i did to the car was change the oil, and install boost gauge like 2 months ago, and a forge diverter valve in the summer. I'll check some more under the hood tomorrow.

Dealerships ALWAYS stand by their work and word, always! Especially Volkswagen dealerships. Nobody ever has had any problems! Definitely nobody on this forum. None of us have ever felt like we paid too much either. They never jerk you around or anything. VW customer satisfaction is actually the highest of all auto companies and the dealerships in Calgary are the best and why would anyone say otherwise?

Going to some experienced, vw-trained mechanic who has to put their personal repuation on the line and who relies on word of mouth for their business is dumb. Why would such a person want to do a good job? Just because they offer the same work at a lower price and will take the time to talk to you like you know about your car... is that really smart of them? And if someone knows about aftermarket parts, that just means they don't know enough about OEM parts because you can only fit so many parts into one brain.

The light just means that your car wants to be looked at. I have driven with my light on for 100,000 Kms and it runs fine. My ABS light is on now for 3 weeks but I'm not concerned about that one either.
It's like haveing ground effects for your dash man.
All kidding aside I really need to get my car in to but it's like if you havent been to the dentist for a while and your nervous about the results.
Some Mechanic will make me really poor not by his doing but by my neglect.
