  • Eurojet Intercoolers

    Hey Guys,

I'm thinking about upgrading my IC and am looking at a eurojet FMIC. Wondering if anybody has a Eurojet FMIC for their 1.8T or what you guys think about eurojet FMIC's? Is 2" piping good enough? I will be chipping the car as well. Any recomendations?

      Re: Eurojet Intercoolers

A very high proportion of vortex'ers use eurojet and swear by it. Apparantly the street kit is a very good kit for the stock K03 and K03s. The race kit is designed for BT applications.

      Pro's:
      - Good performance
      - Very minor amount of trimming
      - easy install
      - The core fits nicely behind the bumper and the piping is polished

      Con's
      - Requires that you remove your stock re-bar and install a "replacement" re-bar designed by eurojet.

Keep in mind that most FMIC's on the market require that you either moddify your stock re-bar or lose it completely. Do a search on the vortex and try and find the thread that adresses this issue to help you make an informed decision. Many people bring up good points for both sides of the re-bar arguement.
