  • paint touch-ups from stone chips - Calgary options?

I hope this is the appropriate forum to ask this question. If not, please advise where else I should post it.

I'd like to touch up some stone chips I've got on the nose of my car. I know I can purchase the touch up paint stick from the dealership, which I've already done. My car is original paint, but, their touch up stick isn't a great match.

I believe there are some places in Calgary that can actually air brush in the stone chips and hopefully give me a better paint match.

Anybody have any recommendations of who to call?

    Thanks

Usually the cost is mixing and matching the paint, and then the loss from the gun. So spraying a few tiny spots won't be much cheaper than doing a whole bumper/hood IMO.

Automation on Macleod did my grill and valences, can give them a call .

Mr. Chippy auto appearance specializes in chips, they do dealer work for Northland VW. Located off Edmonton Trail. I'm happy with a relatively large repair they did a few months ago, although it was right at the edge of their abilities (facilities-wise, not workmanship).

Like Khyron said, probably cheaper to repaint the whole thing in the spring.

        Thanks guys,
appreciate the lead and I'll call Mr. Chippy. Khyron, I've actually got chips on the side as well as the nose, and I really don't want to go the repaint route because inevitably when I go to sell the car, some buyers will insist the car was a writeoff even if I show them a receipt. If I can keep the paint original, the reason for repainting will never arise.
I'll see what the airbrush will cost. If it's too much, I'll have to try mixing the factory touch up stick with something else to modify the colour slightly to get a better match.
