i heard Eb games already gave out pre orders, no more left.

I thought they were just going to make 1 of them and put it straight into the museum beside the Beta and Minidisc, I could be wrong though.

Seriously though I have no Idea, Has Sony actually given a firm date when it's coming out and how much it's going to cost?

EB did a preorder on Halo2 before Bungie even announced it's release which I don't think is right, hopefully they aren't doing the same with the PS3.

The release date is Nov 17th but I think most pre-releases are already accounted for as the quantity is so limited. I really think Sony dropped the ball so hard on this whole thing, and now the rumors that too finish the new GT game you need to purchase $1,000 worth of add-ons just ridiculous.

i think i heard the price had been lowered, could be wrong though. they missed the boat on a full pre xmas release, so i think its less the 1 million that going to be coming to north america (600,000?) for xmas. The rest are coming a few months later. if you can get a pre-order in, you'd make a killing on ebay.

Apparently Sony is really cracking down on ebay sales so may not be as many as expected but probably 2-3K will be the early going rate for one.

Ebay is cracking down on it not Sony. Since supplies will be so thin due to manufacturing yeilds of the new bluray laser being so low Sony is not even sure if it can get the numbers they are saying out the door. For the same reason Sony has delayed the euro launch too. So since you are not guaranteed a unit just because you preordered can make it hard for you to deliever the promissed product 30days after the auction has ended so ebay is just cancelling all those auctions.

don't hold your breath. With only somthing like 50,000 making it to North America we'll be lucky is we see it in Canada at all.

What the point anyway, you are paying for a $850 paperweight. You have 2 games to choose from and none of the other aspects of it are going to be useable until the market adapts.

EBgames in canada and EB and gamespot in USA had presales, 8 or 16 per store depending on traffic. Already sold out.
