From all the write-ups on AW/QW/AZ for Alcantara cleaning most recommend a Mr. Clean Magic Eraser, warm soapy water and a sweater shaver/razor if you have any pilling.

I have used warm water and the Magic Eraser before, and it seems to work well, but you have to do an entire panel at once.. or you will see the rubbing marks and the cleaning lines....and of course let it sit for a while to dry off.

Never dull didn't do it. The only stained strips on the car are the ones that run along the rear side windows (on passat wagon) but whatever the staining is, I guess it's not normal tarnish. The never dull stuff really didn't do a thing, and no black/tarnish came off. Not sure what's stained them.
