Not sure if anyone here can help me but I am looking for a very high quality framing shop here in town, appraisals would be a bonus too.

Re: Picture Framing
The best place I have found for framing is a shop in High River. The guy who owns it started the U-Frame-It franchises in Calgary, and does some amazing work. I will find his info and post it here for you. Definately worth the trip for the money you save & the quality.
I have also found his prices to be far better than any place in Calgary. The first time I took some stuff to him, I thought that he made a mistake the price was so low.
Just stay away from Micheal's, even with thier coupons thier framing is over priced.

Re: Picture Framing
Originally posted by KhyronU frame it was overpriced IMO, even with my coupon when I was getting quotes. A little shop on Bow Trail used the same materials for almost half the price.
Khyron
He is retired & living in High River, and is busier than ever in his own shop.
The mark ups on framing is so ridiculous (500-1000%) there is alot of differance in pricing from shop to shop.

Re: Picture Framing
There is a custom framing place on 10th avenue just east of Mt Equip Co-op but on the south side of the street. Its pretty close to you Blair (downtown) and I think some of the Galleries on 11th ave get work done there.KR
