    Need Help..

    Hey Everyone,

    Last year I upgraded from Girlfriend 7.0 to Wife 1.0. I soon noticed that the new program began unexpected child processing that took up a lot of space and valuable resources. In addition, Wife 1.0 installed itself into all other programs and now monitors all other system activity like my applications such as Poker Night 10.3 , Football 5.0 , Hunting and Fishing 7.5 , and Racing 3.6. I can't seem to keep Wife 1.0 in the background while at tempting to run my favorite applications! I'm thinking about going back to Girlfriend 7.0, but the un-install doesn't work on Wife 1.0. Please help!

      ahah, i know of a few people who have a problem with wife 1.0!

          Unfortunatly in this case there is no "safe mode" to uninstall wife 1.0. However there are few programs such as binge drinking 3.6.8 that should be quite effective for temporarily putting wife 1.0 into quarantine.
          1) 2007 Candy white MKV GTI. DSG, votex kit, 19" Privat netz, tinted tails, smoked side markers & mirror signals, 20% tint, TT stubby, APR sport 3" turbo back exhaust, ABD stage 2 cold air intake. GONE.
          2) 1993 Green Corrado VR6. ABD intake. FK Silverline coils, Zimmerman cross drilled & slotted rotors. GONE.

            Mistress 1.0 is an effective way to force wife 1.0 to uninstall, unfortunately it takes half of your infrastructure during the process.

                  the problem with Mistress 1.0 is it, too, is a serious resource hog. It also has the ability to communicate with Wife 1.0 on an as-needed basis.

                  Also, uninstalling wife 1.0 not only takes half your infrastructure, it limits your child processing to once a quarter!

                    Ther is an easy workaround.

                    What he needs is Girlfriend 4.0. Then he can tell Wife 1.0 he'll be using Girlfriend 4.0 for the evening, and Girlfriend 4.0 he'll be using Wife 1.0 for the evening, and this will temproarily free up enough resources to run either Poker Night 10.3, Football 5.0, Hunting and Fishing 7.5, Racing 3.6 or Labwork Ver 8.

                    The only problem is that like any workaround, it's temporary, and the repurcussions of using an unlicensed combination of the two could have serious consequences.

                      I got this reply from tech support.

                      This is a very common problem that men complain about. Many people upgrade from Girlfriend 7.0 to Wife 1.0, thinking that it is just a Utilities and Entertainment program. Wife 1.0 is an OPERATING SYSTEM and is designed by its Creator to run EVERYTHING!!! It is also impossible to delete Wife 1.0 and to return to Girlfriend 7.0. It is impossible to un-install, or purge the program files from the system once installed. You cannot go back to Girlfriend 7.0 because Wife 1.0 is designed to not allow this. Look in your Wife 1.0 manual under Warnings-Alimony-Child Support . I recommend that you keep Wife1.0 and work on improving the situation. I suggest installing the background application "Yes Dear" to alleviate software augmentation. The best course of action is to enter the command C:\APOLOGIZE because ultimately you will have to give the APOLOGIZE command before the system will return to normal anyway.

                      Wife 1.0 is a great program, but it tends to be very high maintenance. Wife 1.0 comes with several support programs, such as Clean and Sweep 3.0 , Cook It 1.5, and Do Bills 4.2. However, be very careful how you use these programs. Improper use will cause the system to launch the program Nag Nag 9.5 . Once this happens, the only way to improve the performance of Wife 1.0 is to purchase additional software. I recommend Flowers 2.1 and Diamonds 5.0 !

                      WARNING!!! DO NOT , under any circumstances, install Secretary With Short Skirt 3.3. This application is not supported by Wife 1.0 and will cause irreversible damage to the operating system. It may even crash your system.

                          Ah....yes, this is a common problem with Wiferosoft products...all of the symptoms above have not yet been fully rectified by either hotfix, patch, or full release.
                          Beware of late night deployments, after upgrading to Wife 1.0...defects and WIS (Wife Information Services) crashes are common place.

                          The solution??

                          Well, Wifeux of course!
