I have a 20th Anniversary GTI and last year I purchased a new set of steelies and winter rubber so I didn't have to ruin my 18" Aristo's. However, this year I decided to begin parking my car for the winter and now I have these nearly brand new steelies and tires collecting dust in my garage.
My Aristo's have straight summer tires, so the next owner would have to buy a set of winter rims and tires if he/she decides to drive it year round.
My questions are:
Should I keep the extra set of rims and tires for when I decide to sell my car or should I try and sell them off now?
Does it make a difference in regards to re-sale value? Would it make it easier to sell the car?
What would you do?
Thanks
