Hey - I know we have a few around here and a client of mine is looking to have a website built

It's for her husband who I believe owns a small construction/reno company. No idea on budget or any of the details, they're just looking for names and examples at this point

..so..post em up if you're interested and Ill pass it along

    Re: Web Dev's

If they want it done cheaper, here is a suggestion you should pass along to them... they should do some prep work themselves to make it easy on the developer. Some ideas are:

    - Come up with a color scheme or ideas in advance
    - Find some similar site layouts that they like on the web
    - Write up the content (text) that they want included
    - Do some rough sketches if they can
    - Provide some digital photos and company logos/graphics

If they provide all of that, its going to be WAY easier to make a website.

90% of times I have done this for people, the process gets "stuck" when the client can't come up with the content/text that they want on the website. So many customers don't realize that they will have to put some effort into it too and not just "hire a geek to do it".
