Apple iPod HiFi
I am just wondering if anyone had any experience with these as it maybe a nice solution for a small apartment type situation

haha i read some reviews and it's decent blair i want to buy one for my new place next spring to put on the mantle of the fireplace but i dunno if erin will let me lol -

Took a listen to one last night and sounds very good, really a cool device and I also like that it has a line in so you can also play cd/dvds with it.Blair

My buddy has one, and although they look fairly clean and sound pretty crisp.....like any Apple product, you have to pay out the ass for it!Kyle

Klipsch has a really really slick looking and sounding one at bestbuy for 299..Ive got klipsch towers and they're great

I don't think the Klipsch looks as nice in person and the sound was not as good as the Apple IMO, plus I really like the line in option.
But I do like Klipsch speakers

klipsch in the picture above has the line in option also, but since the dock is smaller (smaller speakers), the bass isn't probably as good. It sounds good in a small room though.
They also have a dock (klipsch) that's a sub/sattelite combo that sounds very good.put.......put.......

Well I have had my Apple HiFi for a week now and I am very happy with it does a great job for a small place, easy to move around and of course my new 30 gig iPod is great too!! I would like a bit more bass but other than that very happy.
Next weeks electronics purchases Pioneer plasma and Xbox 360

I got it at Best Buy it was on sale and when you got an iPod also got an additional 10% off accessories so I got a 30gig iPod and the HiFi for like 600 as the ipods were on sale too!
Did some messing around with the EQ and got more bass out of it so really liking it now!!Blair
