Stock Tip Thread.

Admins I thought we could create a thread of stock picks for all the investment people in this forum. Perhaps we could could sticky it at the top of the Lounge.

This should help share useful info, and banter about some ideas, tips, thoughts, or problems.

Since this is a forum with tons of Computer techies.... those of you with shares in Apple made a healthy profit today! To bad I don't have any shares in Apple.

However if the Starbucks goes through in my new building that might be a good buy as I will probably spend way too much money there

I'm watching another stock... GNY. I think it will stay around the 4.60 mark until the end of the summer, then it will hit around $6.

I also read an Analyst who thought Timmies might be a good buy now. They have really declined after their IPO, so it might be good timing.

Well the predictions of $100 a barrel oil are growing so Oil company stocks could be a wise investment now such as Encana, CNRL and Suncor. With a huge price in oil retailers, airlines and fast food stocks could suffer so maybe time to get out of those especially if gas prices push us into a recession.

buy some ATI/AMD now that they merged however you missed the boat as it went up crazy the day of the merger

nvidia has always been good to me.
