    Hey Guys

my Sony 3.2mp digi-cam took a crap and died a few weeks ago so I need something new as I havent been able to take 1 damn picture of my puppy and its not going to be a puppy forever

Looking to spend no more that 400, ideally around 3...I have no brand preference and am looking for a point and shoot camera. It doesnt need to be one of those crazy slim cameras but that would be a big bonus

    Any suggestions?

    Re: Camera questions

I just bought a really great one. Its a kodac, beatifuly camera. 5 megpix, 2.5-3 inch led screen, (bright) plus vew finder, flash goes about 13 feet, black, metal contruction. easy share stand. very easy to use! let me grab the model number for you. i am very happy with it. www.dpreview.com is a great site to compare all the cameras on the market.

Edit: Kodac v550 is what i have. Love it.

          Re: Camera questions

The new canon's are sweet.. i used to sell digital cameras.. you're probably going to be looking closer to the $400 range since you're going to have to buy a new type of memory card for it.. even the new sony's use a smaller card. So the best bang for your buck (best features and quality) is going to be either one of the canon's or the new sony's are good too, if you dont mind XD memory cards then go with fuji. Great cameras, fairly easy to use and have a really good start up time and a quick shutter speed.

EDIT: If you like slim camera's (like pocket size pretty much) go with Canon SD450 or the Sony W30 or W50. All are a great value
Or if you like something a little bigger but not too big I recommend the Canon A530 or A540. Or if you a can find one for a good rice the Canon A610 or A620
