So I'm taking my wife out for a nice dinner for her Bday, and I'm running out of places to select from. I was originally thinking something along the lines of Joeys (to obvious) or maybe Melrose. Anyone else have any ideas of places to go for a good dinner?

Re: Trendy Restaurants......
belgo is pretty upscale, dim lighting, excellent hiring policies...prices on the lunch menu were 16-30something for an entreé
I would compare it to the Metropolitan Grill food-wise, actually if you've never eben to the metro. grill, thats worth a trip as well. (8th st and 16th ave, i think, its in that side street just off 17th near melroseREAL men use harsh language as self-defense

Wanna try something crazy, go out to bears den in bearspaw. It's a 4 million dollar restaurant in the middle of nowhere opened about 1.5 years ago. It's awesome, service is great and food is great.
Don't go to chicago chop house, terrible food, and the servers don't know **** about wines!!!(that just goes to show the knowledge about food)2004 Nissan Murano

The Ranche in Fish Creek Park is probably one of the nicest restaurants I have been to in town. Food and atmosphere was awesome.

Re: Trendy Restaurants......
Divino's I have been disappointed in the last couple of times there (I used to really like the food but that was when they were in the old spot) Belvadere is a long time fave but my favourite (food wise) I have been to recently though is Muse in Kensington. (try the lamb!)
