Cats are usually pretty well behaved if they have been taught right. Just make sure they're house trained...

But I thought that you can not have pets at your place, how can you have a cat? I have thought a bought a pet but I am not really a cat person so it would be a dog for me. I am just not sure if I spend enough time at home to be fair to the animal.

I would probably try to get the female if you get one. I've been told that Male's.....well.....Let's just say make a mess, the female's are also supposed to be more dosile once youget them Spayed (is it Spayed for a female? I can't remember). If it's an indoor cat you might want to look at declawing (about $120 "option") however I'm still not sure how I feel about the declawing thing. I haven't had a cat in a long time I only know this 'cause My friend just recently got one from the SPCA.

Hey Peter,
I love both Cats and Dogs, but I gotta tell you that cats are sooo much easier. Very low maintenance and a lot of fun. Think about the declawing thing as well. Our cat was declawed and it was the best decision ever! Sure the cat was a bit uncomfortable for a couple of days but she was back to her normal self very quickly. I don't think I would ever live in a place without some sort of furry pet! As far as costs, that is also very minimal. Its up to you what you want to feed the cat. Some people spend a lot of $$$ on wet food for their cats but we don't. If you don't start with the wet food they will never miss it....and dry food is cheap! Don't go too cheap however because the quality of the food greatly affects the quantity and quality of waste!

Cats are sweet, just leave a big bag of food out and it'll eat only what it needs, you just have to get water and empty the litterbox, cats are low maintenance, they come and visit but seem to know when your busy.

Dogs are more fun, but cats are easy.

cats 0wn! my kitty back home that lives with my parents is about 14 years old now and acts and looks like hes 4-6 years old.. and he is smarter than alot of people I know. I can get him to do pretty much anything I tell him include sit on a highchair and eat at the table and not get all dumb about it.. he'll seriously just sit there and eat and then hop down and take off.. he's the best.

The 20th is treating me very nicely. I've already racked up 1300+ kms on it. I keep getting nice comments from lots of people at gas stations, stoplights, and even had my neighbor's tutor have me come out and tell him all about it. He is now going to try and get one I think (Derek, he should be calling you sometime soon).

Sadly, I haven't had any young ladies flash their bosoms at me...yet. (Don't laugh, this happened to me not once, not twice, but thrice when driving an Indy Pace car Vette.)

haha that happened to me last year on halloween. 3 chicks in a car all flashed me while the guy driving gave me the thumbs up. i just laughed and sped up as they were all ugly
