I was actually disappointed when I drove the 2.0T Premium, I didn't love driving it! Everything else about it, design feel and looks is spot on. Except how I felt driving it. Although I'm sure if it was the 3.2L VR6 I'd feel differently.

Agreed. Even the body kit isnt all that terrible, but the lambo doors ruined that car. I really like the paint job. Popp, that pic his quite funny. Never took the time to realize lambo's dont do it anymore either. hahaha
Ummmm Lambos still do it.
So sick of that photo.
The top end lambo has always had 'Lambo' Doors. The baby brother has always had normal doors. They were designed because the Countach was too wide, and they were worried that people would get stuck in their cars parking it in parkades. Therefor, the doors go up.
They are very practical and useful on super cars, they have them for a reason. The one downfall is that they often don't allow a full opening due to some parkades being too low. Which is why the CCX uses a double helical door. Therefor it swings not only up, but also forward. Allow the full use of the door, in low roofed parkades.
The Murcielago has those doors, and so will the replacement. Just like the Diablo and the Countach. The Gallardo and its replacement will not, just like the Miura.
I was merely making a point that the most common lambo's dont do vertical doors these days where as in the times of the countach and the diablo, they both had them. The miura was never a common lambo.
so now let me rephrase that. Funny to see that gay ass honda's which are no wider than any other car on the road, have vertical doors. Where as the wider gallardo, being a supercar, does not. Unless you dont consider the gallardo being a supercar...

Most Ferrari's dont have them, Porsche's dont have them, Audi R8 doesnt have them, Bugatti Veyron doesnt have them. So basically they are designed so that supercars have easier parking. I'll make sure to put them on my Golf ASAP
