    Aww it makes me so happy to see the centre of the universe didn’t make the playoffs, I’m just so happy inside. Seriously though Nashville can't do anything with Vokoun, not a chance, also Ottawa is king of choking when its clutch time. But on a side note I would love more than anything to see the Rangers make it to the cup; It would insure a lot of coverage and interest from our southern friends.
    When you do things right, people won't be sure you've done anything at all.

      Well Ottawa maybe the king of choking when its clutch time but they still have the fire power to back a med range goalie up, if they get Dom back they will be a force during the playoffs. I really don’t care for the HC Kladno (Czech Republic team), I mean the Rangers... I would much rather see an all Canadian final then trying to sell hockey in the USA (although I see your point)

        Ottawa blows in the playoffs anyways. They aren't a playoff team. They may prove me wrong this year but without Hasek they ar sunk.

          Some may think that but I'm a native of Ontario and I don't. Some Calgarians are starting to think that they are the center of the universe. They are saying what would Canada be without oil??!! But count how many people were born here and didn't come here from other places.

              I came from Ontario, but it was northern Ontario (may as well be a different country) and since we were so close to Winnepeg I used to cheer for the Jets, but then as I got older it was all about the North Stars!!

                I really really want to see the battle of Alberta in the playoffs. So go oil go and I can't wait to see the flames burn you in 5 games. That being said can any one even think what it will be like in the dome tonight? I have my name in a draw for a couple tix at work. I hope I win, it will be unreal in that joint tonight. Oh yea Vancouver should consider Pat Quinn for there coches job. Flames and Habs for the cup I just like seeing the west whip Quebec at anything.

                  Slow start by CBC, the crowd and the flames last night but still turned out pretty good!!

                        I wasn't in anyway referring to oil or the economy in my "centre of the universe" comment. I simply meant that every single weekend we much endure through seeing the Leafs on HNIC even though they have their our friggen’ network that will show all theirs games! The leafs always take centre stage over any other team in media discussion, even though they are the worst of all 6 teams. Just pisses me off that with a 3 games left in the season Mcguire was still talking like they were king and that "the team had to think like a cup contender" if they were going to make it into the playoffs. And look they didn’t even make they playoffs and we are still talking about them!
