  • Excel and VBA?

Just how hard is this stuff to learn? I have a good handle on Excel, however I want to learn how to create macros (more complex macros) and I've heard I'll need to know how to use VBA to do so.

Is this something that I could learn by buying a book, or would in person classes be a better option?

do you have any programming experience?

If you do, it's pretty straight forward to pick up from a book.

It'll cost you 50 buck...buy the book (expense if possible) and enjoy...I've learned VB in access...I'm not programmer and don't aspire to...but managed to sell an app...

I'm not a programmer nor do I want to be, since I'm horrible. However I find myself using excel more and more, and macros would save me a ton of time.

if they're relatively simple macros, you can just click record and it'll write a script based on your actions while recording. You can then go into the editor and add some more complex operations if you like.
