    Canadas Competition act ( 1986, ammended in 1992)
    Resale Price Maintenance: It is illegal for suppliers or manufacturers to try to influence the price at which a product is to be resold by a purchaser. Discretionary fine or imprisonment for up to five years, or both, may be imposed.

    Straight from the txt book...

    ... umm but good luck proving it if the rep is simply buying out the stock at their retail price and simply being to busy to fill new orders..
