Top Gear Revved up!

Today Mr. Postman dropped off my first issue of Top Gear Magazine along with a Top Gear Revved up DVD.
The only issue is it's a region 2 DVD.... how do I get around this. I have a DVD player to my TV and DVD-ROM on the compy...

I was able to play my Top Gear DVDs on my comp - they were also European region DVDs. Give it a try.

It didn't work on the compy, I switched the region to 2 and it still didn't work. I must not have the software for it.

how is the magazine, vs. the show? Similar style reviews? (or is it totally different than the Top Gear show?)

The magazine is a little bit ADD in design for me. I like a nice, clean layout and they crowd the pages quite a bit with things that you'd find in the 'news' section of the show. Except they are useless things like 50 word blurbs on police chases in different countries.

The writing is pretty frank and overall it's not a bad birthday present, although I don't know that I'd run out and get a subscription myself.

how is the magazine, vs. the show? Similar style reviews? (or is it totally different than the Top Gear show?)
