I just got an ipod nano so want to sell my old mini. So is there a way to register the mini to a new owner? So like when you sync it up to itunes it doesn't show up as "Derick's ipod" or whatever?

derick just use the ipod updater to reset it to factory defaults.. i think that will work.. i dunno

Yes, using the iPod Updater and doing a Restore will make it factory fresh.
