Cleaning Rims ?
What is the best for cleaning up rims? I know that time and elbow grease are involved! Just wondering if there is some product that works really good? tia

i use a few different cleaners..
i have mothers wheel/tire cleaner its a purple color/bottle and works quite well.
i also have this new michellin brand stuff which is rebranded something but it works very well also..
other than that keeping your wheels clean is a weekly process of cleaning them wiping them down and waxing them.. -

Mr. Clean Magic Eraser if they are really bad. My OEM alloys had some seriously baked on brake dust (I think it was brake dust), and it took it off.Jeff

actually i coulda swore last time i was at crappy tire they had mr. clean magic erasers specially made for cars in the car section.. those things work wonders for house hold related stuffComment

I've found that eagle 1 A2Z is the best rim cleaner out there (I also discovered that it also rules at getting those PITA white wax/polish stains off of your black plastic trim

I got a couple spots that are bad seems like sap or tar really hard to get off gotta get someyhing to remove them

you can also clay bar your wheels to remove tar,etc i do mine with an old clay bar makes them niiiceComment
